Ink spread about with Fork, Bottle Cap, and Guitar String while listening to King Crimson's 'In the Court of the Crimson King', which, if you haven't heard it, is one of the best albums ever, in my opinion. Very Majestic...

I tripped the fuck out when I saw this..It's amazing..I've been trying for what seems like forever to capture this same type of style with my own ink drawings, and failed horribly. This is so damn cool x3

Yerba Mate and a guitar string and bottle cap helped out with this picture specifically... for me this style has taught me that there ARE NO MISTAKES in art, only beauty... ink, again in my perspective, is a sloppy affair... i usually just lay down some splatters and then develop shapes from there and then the shapes turn into more complex-yet-recognizable patterns, such as forming anthropomorphic characters, and i work to flesh those out. my suggestion is to grab a stack of computer paper, a dip-pen, and some ink and keep doodling until you get the flow of the medium... it's what i did. For every piece i deem viewable to an audience, there's scores of pages of random marks and 'failed' creatures.

keep drawing your experience and you'll find a style which adequately speaks it.

of course, i'll love to see what you produce! Keep moving, keep having fun!

I've taken what you said into account, tried my luck with some random ink blots, used a stick, steel wool, and the wire to a set of ear buds that I had stripped and used that to develop the shapes and everything... I really appreciate the advice, encouragement, and kind words ^^ Also really really appreciate the favorite of creeper ^^
